Phase One is complete!
I am happy to announce that Phase One of Dancing with Rani is complete! Phase One began in summer of 2023 and ended this month and included development, pre-production, and bulk of the production. With 16 days of shoot this month, followed by dubbing and initial edits, I am deeply grateful we are at this stage. We saw plenty of challenges, but God’s favor was upon us and the hard work of 200+ (swelling to 400+ on some days) talented and hardworking cast and crew helped us stay on time and on budget. I would define filmmaking as intensified teamwork. I am grateful to each and every team member (you are an amazing group of people!). I’m also grateful to our supporters – without your prayers and generosity we would never have come to this place! Here are some photos of Phase One (which included a bulk of the shooting). Next up is Phase Two (January – April) with three more days of shooting in March and bulk of the post-production work.
